The Opportunity:  

We’re seeking a results-driven VP of Sales to support the execution of our sales strategy and lead frontline sales teams across a regional or segment-specific scope. Reporting to the SVP of Sales, this leader will be instrumental in meeting revenue goals, coaching sales managers, and advancing client relationships within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead day-to-day sales execution for an assigned region and/or vertical segment 

  • Manage and coach a team to consistently achieve and exceed targets 

  • Drive pipeline development and deal progression with a strong focus on enterprise clients 

  • Support the implementation of sales processes, enablement tools, and training to maximize team effectiveness 

  • Consistently drive toward and achieve assigned Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets in alignment with company growth goals. 

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align on customer needs and solution positioning 

  • Track sales performance and provide regular reporting to the SVP of Sales with insights and recommendations 

  • Represent Markaaz in key customer meetings and negotiations 

  • Ensure ongoing team development through coaching, feedback, and professional growth initiatives 

  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to inform execution strategy 

  • Maintain high standards for sales forecasting, CRM hygiene, and sales data integrity 

What You’ll Bring:  

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, including 5+ years in a sales leadership capacity 

  • Proven ability to lead and grow revenue-generating teams across multiple territories 

  • Demonstrated success in complex, consultative sales environments 

  • Familiarity with Banking, Fintech, ISV, or Channel Partner ecosystems 

  • Strong coaching, performance management, and people leadership skills 

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities 

  • Comfortable working in a matrixed, fast-paced organization 

  • Authorized to work in the US or UK and willing to undergo background checks 

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus 

Bonus Points If You Have: 

  • Experience in SaaS, data, or fintech solution sales 

  • Background in scale-up or high-growth environments 

  • Proficiency in pipeline management tools and enterprise CRM platforms 

  • Track record of mentoring and developing next-generation sales leaders 

  • Experience managing international or cross-functional sales efforts

Compensation:  

We offer a competitive salary for this role, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $185,000 to $200,000, depending on experience and location and is eligible for commission.
