The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic SVP of Sales to lead our sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and scale our market presence across one of our key segments: Banking, ISVs, and Fintechs. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic leader with a track record of building high-performing teams and executing sales strategies across diverse international markets.
What You’ll Do:
Execute Markaaz’s global sales strategy across your key segment: Banking, ISV, and/or Fintech.
Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales team across an assigned geography (US, UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, LATAM, or MEA)
Develop and implement sales processes, training, and performance standards to ensure consistent execution and accountability
Own revenue targets and deliver results through disciplined pipeline management and deal execution
Lead and support your team in sourcing, developing, and closing strategic opportunities with new and existing clients
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales execution with broader business objectives
Coach and mentor sales leaders to elevate performance, deepen customer relationships, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration
Track and report on KPIs and deal progress, providing actionable insights to executive leadership
Represent Markaaz in key external engagements to advance partnerships, drive visibility, and support market positioning
Ensure the sales team remains agile, informed, and compliant with evolving market trends, regulations, and client needs
What You’ll Bring:
12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including direct responsibility for team performance and revenue delivery
- Proven enterprise fintech seller with the ability to immediately engage big banks, fintechs with credibility and confidence.
- Demonstrated experience selling API-driven and data infrastructure solutions, including exposure to KYB, onboarding, fraud, credit, and payments environments.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior leaders across Product, Risk, Compliance, and Digital in strategic dialogue.
- Deep experience navigating complex, long-cycle deals inclusive of security reviews (Third Party Risk Management / TPRM), model validation, and multilayer procurement processes.
- Track record of building pipeline from the ground up, not solely relying on inbound, with demonstrated success creating $5M to $10M or more in annual pipeline.
- Comfortable co-selling with systems integrators, data bureaus, fintech platforms, and other ecosystem partners.
- You know how to leverage partner relationships to open doors, add credibility, and accelerate deals.
- You can keep control of strategy, messaging, and the commercial outcome, rather than letting the partner “run the deal” or dilute positioning.
- Advanced discovery capability and a well-developed point of view, with the ability to reframe KYB, onboarding, and SMB decisioning conversations beyond feature-level positioning.
- Highly disciplined in process, forecasting, and operating cadence, with a strong sense of accountability to the number.
Authorized to legally work for any employer in the US and willing to submit to background checks
Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a plus

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary for this role, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000, depending on experience and location and is eligible for Commission and equity.
